Announcement:
The Lawrence Community Shelter Board of Directors is seeking community members to become Advisory Committee members to advise and assist the Board of Directors. Candidates to the Advisory Committee include but are not limited to the following: City and/or County employees; representatives of social service agencies or other non-profit entities; current and former guests of the shelter; shelter employees, individuals with lived experience. The Advisory Committee will select one or two of its members to attend meetings of the Board of Directors as an advisory and nonvoting guest. This application will remain open until all positions are filled.
