CANCELLATION ANNOUNCEMENT: October 19, 2023
Dear Friends of LCS,
Thank you for your unwavering support of our mission to help people facing homelessness through advocacy, shelter, and housing. We were excited for the return of our annual fundraiser event, and for the opportunity to see and thank you in-person. Sadly, we must cancel the event, Chocolate and Tea, which was originally scheduled for November 5th of this year. We have transitioned into a model of shared governance with our City and County partners and now welcome a new Board of Directors. Due to the focus on this transition, we came to the decision that we would be unable to give this event the attention it deserves.
Your continued support now will make a huge difference to those who rely on us. If you have already contributed towards the event, we will be contacting you soon, or feel free to contact us to let us know how you would like your contribution to be used or redirected.
We are considering options for a smaller event and are hoping to be able to provide updates soon.
